Accurately Measure Implant

Stability and Osseointegration

Restore implants sooner with confidence.
The Penguin II more accurately measures implant stability and osseointegration, providing you with the ideal time to load an implant. This is especially important when using procedures with shorter treatment times or treating at-risk patients. The Penguin II is not only affordable and simple to use; it reduces treatment time while allowing you to restore sooner with total confidence. It’s non-invasive, more accurate diagnosis helps ensure implant success.

Reduce The Risk Of Implant Failure

The Penguin II gives dentists the ability to reliably monitor osseointegration of dental implants

  • Remove doubt when determining safe loading times
  • Highly sophisticated technology made uncomplicated and affordable
  • New product design is easier for the clinician to hold securely
  • New battery system is both rechargeable and replaceable
  • MulTipegs are autoclavable for up to 20 uses

The RFA Technique
The Penguin II uses Resonance Frequency Analysis (RFA) to measure the Implant Stability Quotient. The MulTiPeg responds to magnetic pulses and vibrates when sensing the stiffness in the contact area between the bone and implant surface. Values above 70 ISQ indicate a very stable implant environment and low micro-mobility, which are ideal for one-stage and immediate loading.
